1. Do I have to be a dancer or an athlete in order to learn and adequately perform Gyrotonic exercises?
Gyrotonic methodologies were created with the intention that
anyone, regardless of age or heath condition, can learn and benefit
by practicing Gyrotonic exercises under the watchful eye of a Certified
Gyrotonics expert.
Gyrotonic exercises are used in studios, health clubs and
spas, physical therapy clinics, hospitals, as well as university athletic and
dance departments.
2. I have sustained physical injuries in my life which have caused some health issues. Can I benefit by taking some private sessions?
Clients should continue to consult any health care professionals whom they
are seeing for their physical maladies. Some physical conditions may
require that an individual take sessions on a regular basis as progress varies
from individual to individual. Because Gryotonic methodologies can be categorized as "holistic"
in nature, the body, emotions and mind are considered as one unit. The stimulation or
healing of one aspect may have an affect on another aspect. Trainers are taught to attempt to
recognize the conditions and needs of every client who wants to begin training.
